About the position
The Ithaca City School District is seeking a German Language Teacher to provide instruction to secondary students with varied levels of ability and experience. The teacher will implement New York State and District curricular requirements and will collaborate regularly with other teachers to share resources. The position is located at DeWitt Middle School and is anticipated to start on January 2, 2024.

Requirements
- Possession of (or proof of eligibility for) New York State certification in German 7-12
- At least a Bachelor's degree

Nice-to-haves
- Dual language certification (German/French or German/Spanish)
- Experience in implementing culturally responsive curriculum
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom and differentiate instruction
