About the position

The Customer Service Representative role is a permanent work-at-home position within the Healthcare Systems & Services industry. The representative will utilize their customer service skills to assist clients' members or customers by answering inbound phone calls and addressing various inquiries related to healthcare services and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PCP Change/Provider Lookup.
  • Look up Medical Benefits such as benefit maximums, copay/coinsurances, Prior Authorization pre-requisite, and coverage.
  • Review of Ancillary Benefits such as Dental, Vision, Over the Counter, etc.
  • Process claims inquiries, including billing for services like MRI procedures.
  • Answer enrollment/disenrollment inquiries.
  • Address grievances and complaints.
  • Perform billing tasks such as making payments, transaction history, and premium inquiries.
  • Manage LEP inquiries and disputes.
  • Assist in material requests such as ID cards and large/Braille print materials.
  • Provide self-help options such as member portal access.
  • Provide local locations to pharmacies, OTC, and specialists.

Requirements

  • At least a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 18 months call center experience.
  • Healthcare background is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of computer experience in a work environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to display empathy and care.
  • Dedicated area to work from in your home.
  • Internet speed requirement of 50 Mb/s for download and 10 Mb/s for upload speeds (Wireless access/WIFI is not permitted).
