About the position

The GI Surgery Scheduler is responsible for managing the scheduling of GI operating room time, ensuring that the schedule is filled with profitable procedures. This role serves as the primary point of contact for patients scheduling their procedures, requiring excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the scheduling of GI operating room time.
• Proactively fill the schedule with profitable procedures.
• Serve as the key point of contact for patients regarding their procedure scheduling.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one (1) year scheduling experience in an ambulatory surgery facility, acute-care hospital, or physician's office.
• Comprehension of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
