The Giant Direct In Store Shopper position at The Giant Company in West Chester, PA, is a part-time role focused on accurately selecting Giant Direct orders throughout the store. The primary responsibility is to ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service while adhering to all company service policies and established procedures, including safety, food safety, and sanitation practices. This role requires the ability to manage multiple customer orders simultaneously, ensuring that all items from the customer's online shopping list are matched accurately. Additionally, the shopper will assist customers in picking up their orders at designated parking spots or drive-thru locations, providing a seamless shopping experience. Essential functions of the job include greeting customers, substituting items as requested, and recognizing various types of produce merchandise. The shopper must also package merchandise according to company policies and label items for customer pick-up. The position demands physical stamina, as it involves standing and walking for the majority of the shift, as well as the ability to lift and push various weights. The ideal candidate will maintain a neat appearance and dress according to company policy, while also treating all associates with fairness and respect. Additional responsibilities include observing all company policies and procedures, assisting in special projects, and performing other functions as assigned by supervision. The Giant Direct In Store Shopper must be able to handle a variety of substances associated with cleaning materials and fresh produce, and meet established volume activity standards.
Responsibilities
