About the position

The Girl Experience Program Manager at Girl Scouts of Western Ohio is responsible for creating and leading programs that enhance the girl experience, focusing on fun and challenging activities that promote learning, growth, and empowerment. This role involves developing community partnerships, organizing events, and ensuring that programs align with the organization's mission and goals. The position requires availability for evening and weekend work, as many programs are scheduled during these times.

Responsibilities

• Design and provide oversight on programs and events that align with the organization's mission.
• Ensure program and event milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
• Build community partnerships and develop resources to support the Girl Scout Leadership Experience.
• Develop and manage a strategic, multi-year, data-based plan for council initiatives.
• Create, implement, and evaluate council-sponsored events for girls in grades K-12.
• Cultivate and oversee a portfolio of high-quality community-based partnerships.
• Manage Girl Scout program volunteers and administrative committees.
• Support the administration of volunteer-led day camps, including risk management and financial stewardship.
• Oversee the creation and management of the budget for council-sponsored events and initiatives.
• Guide members in following risk management policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• Demonstrated experience working with youth.
• Experience in program management, including creating and implementing community-based programs.
• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to organizational goals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in community outreach and partnership development.
• Knowledge of Girl Scouts programs and initiatives.
