About the position

The GIS Analyst position at Modis involves utilizing ArcGIS to create data sets, maps, services, and web map applications for a client company in Oklahoma City. The role requires a combination of technical skills in GIS mapping and strong communication abilities to support various projects and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD systems to prepare detailed drawings from sketches and specifications from engineers, architects, and designers.
• Prepare complete and accurate plans, detailed drawings, and maps from rough or detailed sketches or notes.
• Reproduce plans, detailed drawings, maps, and/or bid packages.
• Prepare resource guides, operating procedures, project status reports, weekly work schedules, and travel requests and summaries.
• Assist in development, oversight, and management of GIS/GPS quality assurance.
• Provide technical and administrative support to the Director of Information Technology.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in GIS mapping.
• Excellent communication and team skills.
• At least 3 years of experience and knowledge of ArcGIS 9.x.
• Experience with Geocortex and Data Mapping.
