About the position

As a GIS Analyst at Fischer Homes, you will manage the local GIS platform to produce, analyze, interpret, and visualize geospatial datasets that support the company's initiatives. This role requires strong leadership qualities, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines. You will serve as a technical leader in GIS, taking ownership of projects and driving them to completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage the local GIS platform to produce and analyze geospatial datasets.
• Assist in the design, development, and management of GIS data resources.
• Keep the GIS database organized and maintained.
• Prepare, reproduce, and distribute maps, graphics, and related documents.
• Create, edit, and publish data layers.
• Digitize data for inclusion in map layers and datasets.
• Provide user support for GIS application programs.
• Manage the import and export of datasets between GIS and AutoCAD.
• Analyze, resolve, and document problems associated with the data in the databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a geospatial related field.
• 3-5 years of experience as a GIS professional.
• Experience in Geodatabase management procedures.
• Proficient with GIS data in ESRI ArcMap/ArcPro environments and ESRI software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).
• Mastery of Core ESRI ArcGIS Toolkit Applications.
• Experience with GIS programming/scripting languages (Python, SQL).
