About the position
The GIS Analyst position at ClearpointCo. involves working on mapping workflows for 7,000 tracts in the Permian Basin, primarily utilizing the Quorum Land Management system's QGIS add-in for ArcGIS Pro 2.8. This role is essential for managing Land GIS data and requires a strong understanding of Texas legal descriptions and mapping techniques.
Responsibilities
- Carry out mapping workflows on 7,000 tracts in the Permian Basin.
- Utilize the Quorum Land Management system's QGIS add-in for ArcGIS Pro 2.8 for Land GIS data management.
- Work with complex Quarter calls and metes and bounds descriptions.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in GIS, specifically with editing GIS data.
- Strong end-to-end Texas legal description mapping experience.
- Knowledge of deciphering correct legal descriptions from source deeds.
- Proficiency using the native ArcGIS Pro editing tools in conjunction with Quorum QGIS's built-in mapping widgets.

- Prior Quorum QLS/QGIS experience.
