The Mid-level Data Analyst/Database Analyst position at Weston Solutions, Inc. involves supporting Commercial, Industrial, and DoD clients by managing and analyzing environmental data. Responsibilities

• Support Commercial, Industrial, and DoD clients by managing and analyzing environmental data.
• Utilize database technologies to maintain data integrity and serve information to visualization applications.
• Create views, stored procedures, and triggers in SQL Server to support data management.
• Establish patterns and trends in data and ensure data quality processes are in place.
• Provide custom work products in the form of reports, charts, graphs, and other analytics to inform users.
• Collaborate with a distributed team to address critical environmental issues.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related degree.
• 6-10 years of professional experience in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies including Transact SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with environmental data and scientific data management.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with ESRI Spatial Database Engine and spatial databases in an ESRI environment.
• Experience designing custom reports with scientific data from environmental projects.
• Ability to think outside the box and utilize technology/innovation for environmental protection.
