About the position

Responsibilities

  • Analyze processes and develop process automation concepts.
  • Assess costs and benefits of software, products, or services.
  • Design and test documents for application development.
  • Install, configure, and manage software changes.
  • Provide user training and support for GIS applications.
  • Lead GIS server, mobile, and desktop application development efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related geospatial data discipline.
  • Five years of professional work in a geospatial technology environment or equivalent education and experience.
  • Specialization in systems analysis, design, development, and system integrations.
  • Proven experience with various GIS software, programming languages, and tools.
  • Experience in implementing and supporting GIS enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise GIS Architecture and geospatial databases.
  • Ability to develop applications and create maps using GIS software.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, Arcade, JavaScript, or C#.
  • Experience with ESRI software and toolsets for desktop and mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Experience working in teams to establish goals and deliver results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
  • Experience with analysis and development methodologies such as Agile.
  • Attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
  • Valid Florida Driver License.
