About the position
T&M Associates is seeking a multi-talented GIS Specialist for their Applied Technology Practice. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration. The primary focus of this role is on various geospatial technology projects, supporting projects across engineering market sectors, and involves tasks such as data collection, application development, and GIS system implementations.
Responsibilities
- Support various geospatial technology projects within the Applied Technology practice.
- Conduct data collection, development, and conversion.
- Implement and maintain GIS enterprise systems.
- Develop applications and solutions using GIS technologies.
- Visualize data and manage assets using GIS tools.
- Implement Esri solutions including Indoor Mapping and Utility Network.
- Convert and translate data into GIS formats.
- Create web/mobile applications and dashboards using ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Planning, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience in the geospatial technology field.
- Experience with Esri technology stack including desktop, server, and cloud-based solutions.
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro for data collection, editing, and analysis.
- Experience with CAD to GIS conversions.
- Scripting and automation experience with Python 3.0 or higher, Arcade, JavaScript, SQL.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and Azure.
- Effective communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise is a plus.
- Familiarity with third-party APIs.
