About the position

ACRT Pacific, LLC is seeking a contractor to provide GIS, database, and IT support for Natural Resource Management (NRM) projects associated with the Pacific Gas and Electric contract. The contractor will be responsible for supporting current state, anticipated growth, and improvements in these projects as directed by ACRT or a PG&E Work Supervisor. The role involves various tasks including development support for data collection and repositories, data processing, analytics, metrics, quality control (QC), and automation of these processes. Additionally, the contractor will provide front-end development support for data dashboards and assist in training NRM program field personnel to improve workflows and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide development support of data collection and repositories on web-based and PG&E platforms.
  • Support data processing, analytics, metrics, and QC from web-based and PG&E platforms.
  • Automate data processing, analytics, metrics, and QC where applicable.
  • Support defined and ad-hoc data requests.
  • Provide front-end development support of data dashboards on web-based and PG&E platforms.
  • Support and improve data processing, data analysis, data metrics, data QC, and data collection as applicable.
  • Train NRM program field personnel for improved workflows and processes.
  • Support data backup processes.
  • Deliver geospatial and tabular records in web-based and PG&E platforms within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Provide QA/QC reports to appropriate teams and programs on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Backup necessary program data on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Provide web-based dashboards and reporting tools within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Deliver geospatial and tabular files and data/map products internally/externally within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Provide urgent ad-hoc data and analytic deliverables within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Deliver data processing and analytical models within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Develop and document ongoing processes and procedures within 1 to 7 business days upon request.
  • Provide presentation and training materials as requested.
  • Pull programmatic analytics and data from various sources within and outside of PG&E within 1 to 7 business days upon request.

Requirements

  • 2 or 4 year degree in Geographic Informational Systems or related field AND at least 1 years' experience performing GIS analysis or field work OR 4 years work experience in a GIS analysis related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or similar software suite.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Minimum age of 21.
