About the position

The Global Accounts Customer Success Manager at BetterUp plays a crucial role in serving Global 500 accounts by understanding their business strategies and operations. This position involves leading the customer journey from design to value storytelling, acting as a trusted advisor to align BetterUp's offerings with the customer's people strategy. The role requires strong leadership, client service orientation, strategic consulting, and project management skills to maximize the value and impact of BetterUp's services.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with and expand customer/executive sponsorship and champions, aligning internal BetterUp resources to further relationships and account health.
  • Champion account health by taking action on early warning signals and escalating to leadership as necessary.
  • Create thoughtful, value-based business recommendations to help customers maximize value and make internal recommendations on customizations.
  • Drive problem-solving and risk mitigation strategies, engaging cross-functional partners to achieve results.
  • Manage relationships with program sponsors and day-to-day partners, advocating for the customer's best interests internally and externally.
  • Understand customer strategy and challenges, aligning BetterUp's Human Transformation Platform with their internal narrative and desired outcomes.
  • Contribute to the evolution of product functionality, product marketing, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience building deep relationships with Fortune 500 customers and serving as the main point of contact.
  • Strong experience managing customer expectations and maintaining positive relationships while being prescriptive and consultative.
  • Project management experience, managing multiple projects with separate stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to build industry-specific knowledge and engage with senior leadership of large organizations.
  • Experience inspiring customers to implement behavior change solutions.
