About the position

The Global Accounts Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated account strategy plans for assigned global accounts. This role involves building strong relationships with senior-level customer leadership, identifying trends in customer needs, and leading sales efforts for integrated solutions. The position requires collaboration with a dedicated account team and coordination with regional Key Account Managers to drive sales growth and ensure successful renewals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive global, integrated, 3-5-year account strategy plans for assigned Global accounts.
  • Identify broader trends in customer needs and opportunities across the global footprint of customers.
  • Build high touch relationships and earn trusted advisor status from senior-level customer leadership.
  • Identify centers of influence within multi-national customer organizations and provide feedback to executive leadership.
  • Build UL's relationship with Global customer buying centers with the support of an account team.
  • Maintain industry ties to understand market trends and anticipate challenges across all markets served globally.
  • Ensure successful renewals and identify future sales opportunities through customer relationships.
  • Lead sales of integrated solutions to assigned Global tier customer accounts.
  • Collaborate with other Global account managers on account growth opportunities.
  • Coordinate and support team member sales on deals requiring specific expertise or geographic coverage.
  • Utilize sales plays to drive sales for relevant regions and subsidiaries of Global accounts.
  • Participate in quarterly business reviews with sales management to update account plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of demonstrated account management capability.
  • Understanding of Consumer Products and Electronics industry preferred.
  • Experience managing high-visibility customer accounts.
  • Proven ability to manage and sell into large, diverse accounts.
