The Alcoa global organization has embraced the principles and fundamentals of the Alcoa Business System (ABS) to achieve rapid cost reduction and continuous process improvements to underpin the long-term sustainability of the business. As the Global ABS Manager, you will provide critical support for global ABS strategy deployment and ensure that operations are well supported in the change management process, enabling the transformation of the global ABS strategy to the regions in a manner that is impactful, sustainable, and purpose-built. In this role, you will develop expertise in a set of ABS best practices, becoming the reference point for the organization. Collaborating with operations, the global ABS Director, other planning and performance team members, and location ABS personnel will be essential to ensure that ABS principles and strategy support the high priorities for operational transformation. You will be responsible for supporting the global development and maintenance of the state-of-the-art Alcoa Business System (ABS) for operations, acting as an expert in ABS best practices for the global business. Your responsibilities will include supporting the global and regional deployment of ABS across the portfolio of operations, influencing leaders in change management best practices of ABS, and developing the integration of the Operational Performance Dashboard into ABS. You will also provide progress measurement and feedback processes via ‘health checks' of the systems and facilitate the development of actions to address any issues with the deployment of the ABS strategy. Additionally, you will provide systems and programs that support operational transformation with ABS.
