About the position

The Global Assistance Coordinator at On Call International plays a crucial role in supporting the Global Response Center by managing emergency, medical, and travel cases. This position involves direct communication with patients and medical teams, ensuring that individuals receive the necessary assistance during challenging situations. The role is fully remote and offers a unique schedule with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Global Response Center in managing emergency, medical, and travel cases.
  • Handle inbound triage calls and after-hour customer service inquiries.
  • Facilitate payments for airline tickets, funeral home expenses, and other emergency travel needs.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with patients and companions regarding their situations.
  • Liaise with medical teams worldwide to arrange logistics related to emergency travel.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in the travel and hospitality industry, insurance claims processing, or foreign language skills is encouraged but not required.
  • Outstanding customer service skills and proper phone etiquette.
