About the position

The Associate, Regulatory Reporting - Trade Level position at Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Dallas, Texas involves preparing and processing reports that contain critical trading and account holder information submitted to regulatory agencies. The role requires validating regulatory requirements, including Qualified Financial Contracts and other non-financial regulatory reporting regulations. The associate will analyze transactions, identify exceptions, and liaise with multiple teams to ensure timely resolution of these exceptions. Additionally, the position involves building data pipelines and creating solutions for regulatory reporting aimed at eliminating manual touchpoints and reducing risk. The associate will also be responsible for data quality assurance by analyzing large data sets, detecting and correcting errors, and reporting results. Furthermore, the role includes identifying control gaps in regulatory reporting, monitoring process procedures, and collaborating with technology teams to implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field and one year of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field and three years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
  • Experience with risk frameworks including building controls and processes around non-financial regulatory reporting.
  • Familiarity with project management tools including JIRA.
  • Proficiency in structured query language (SQL).
  • Experience with data visualization tools including Tableau.
  • Experience with data analytics tools including low code solutions development in Alteryx.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel including macros, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and IF/AND formulas.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations including Qualified Financial Contract (QFC) Recordkeeping and Canadian Provincial Filing rule NI 45-106F.
  • Experience with Electronic Blue Sheet (EBS) reports.
