About the position

The Global Banking & Markets - Operations - FICC Ops - Analyst position is a critical role within the Mortgage Loan Servicing team, which provides essential operational support to facilitate the settlement of primary and secondary syndicated loan trades. This team collaborates closely with clients, sales/trading desks, and various stakeholders to address issues, resolve exceptions, and manage risk throughout the trade processing life cycle. The analyst will be responsible for functions such as trade confirmation, allocation, facilitation, and verification to client accounts, ensuring that all processes are executed efficiently and accurately. In this role, the analyst will be expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of loan operations, as this knowledge is strongly preferred. The position requires a highly motivated, energetic, and confident team player who possesses excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. These skills are essential for effective interaction at all levels across different business disciplines and regions. The analyst will need to be willing to learn and take ownership of tasks, showcasing the ability to multi-task and handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment. The analyst will also be required to work well under pressure to meet deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and problem-solving skills. The ability to dissect problems and provide clear and concise explanations to clients and colleagues is crucial. Flexibility and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel are also important attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for the settlement of primary and secondary syndicated loan trades.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of Loan Operations strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction across business disciplines and regions.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle large volumes of work at a fast pace.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience in a fast-paced financial services environment.
