About the position

The Global Benefits Manager will lead the development and management of global benefit programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the organization's values. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance benefit offerings for employees across multiple regions, including the US, APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and Oceania.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive benefits and wellness strategy that aligns with company goals, values, and budget.
  • Continuously assess and adjust the strategy to ensure market competitiveness, inclusiveness, compliance, and that programs meet the evolving needs of employees.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of benefit and wellness programs for US-based employees, overseeing implementation, communication, enrollment, and administration.
  • Lead the annual Open Enrollment process, preparing documentation, ensuring system configuration, and establishing integrations with vendors.
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees about available benefits options, enrollment procedures, and changes to benefit plans.
  • Provide resources, tools, presentations, and workshops to help employees make informed benefit decisions.
  • Oversee management of communication forums such as TEAMS, intranet, and emails.
  • Partner with local subject-matter experts in various regions to ensure benefits strategies deliver a consistent employee experience globally.
  • Introduce, implement, and manage global benefit and wellness programs in partnership with local experts.
  • Conduct benefit surveys, internal audits, and analyze data related to employee demographics, utilization patterns, and costs.
  • Manage relationships with benefit plan providers, brokers, third-party administrators, and other relevant vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts, evaluate performance, and monitor service levels to ensure high-quality benefits services.
  • Stay informed about laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting employee benefits.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources management, Labor Relations, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
  • More than 5 years of experience in human resources in a benefits administration role, preferably in an international company
  • More than 5 years of experience in international benefit plan negotiations and implementation
  • Working knowledge of UKG report building is a plus
  • Preferred Certifications: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) credential preferred.
