About the position

As a Brand Ambassador for Diageo, you will play a pivotal role in fostering brand relationships across the on-premise trade and within key brand communities, particularly focusing on the LGBT community. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as the face of the brand, ensuring that the brand's story, quality, and liquid profiles are effectively communicated to key stakeholders in the on-premise trade. You will be tasked with enhancing brand visibility through engaging brand tasting experiences that resonate with both key stakeholders and consumers alike. This role requires you to build and maintain outstanding relationships with bartenders and the on-trade community, ensuring that they are well-informed and enthusiastic advocates for the brand. In addition to your responsibilities with the on-trade, you will also be accountable for nurturing relationships with key brand communities, particularly the LGBT community. This involves supporting organizations that advocate for these communities through brand activations and programs that align with Diageo's values and goals. You will be expected to operate in a manner that respects Diageo's Society 2030 goals and adhere to the Diageo Marketing Code, ensuring that all brand representations are consistent with the company's values. Your role will also involve collaborating closely with key stakeholders, including the VP of Casamigos and the Head of Culture and Experiential Activation, to ensure that all brand initiatives are strategically aligned and effectively executed. This position is not just about promoting the brand; it is about embodying the brand's ethos and being a champion for the brand experience in every interaction you have.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the face of the brand across the on-trade and key brand communities.
  • Champion the brand experience and ensure it is communicated effectively.
  • Educate key stakeholders on the brand's liquid story and tasting experiences.
  • Build and maintain outstanding relationships with the on-trade and bartender community.
  • Develop critical relationships with key brand communities, particularly the LGBT community.

  • Represent company and brand values externally when engaging with stakeholders.
  • Operate in alignment with Diageo's Society 2030 goals and Marketing Code.
