About the position

The Global Brand and Marketing Manager at Bayer will lead the strategic development and execution of brand vision and product marketing initiatives for Climate FieldView, a digital farming platform. This role focuses on innovation and market differentiation, empowering cross-functional teams to enhance brand presence and product engagement globally. The manager will leverage customer insights and market trends to create impactful campaigns, ensuring brand consistency while adapting to local nuances.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation and execution of a brand strategy aligned with business objectives and market trends.
  • Define unique brand positioning that differentiates Climate from competitors, ensuring consistency through collaboration with product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Drive product marketing strategies to enhance market adoption and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and leverage market research initiatives to inform and refine global marketing objectives.
  • Oversee and maintain all website assets to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and messaging.
  • Lead relationships with external agencies, ensuring deliverables align with brand objectives and quality standards.
  • Oversee budgeting for campaigns, negotiating contracts, tracking expenditures, and optimizing resources to maximize ROI.
  • Collaborate with partner apps to enhance their visibility and success within our product ecosystem.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful global launch of new features and products.
  • Actively engage in both strategic direction and execution by collaborating with team members on key initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in brand management and product marketing, including experience leading global marketing campaigns.
  • Proven track record of successful product launches and driving global marketing strategies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and external agencies.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with marketing analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of global markets and the ability to tailor strategies for different regions.
  • Ability to manage budgets and demonstrate ROI on marketing initiatives.
  • Experience with digital marketing strategies, including SEO, content marketing, and social media.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset, focused on driving growth and innovation.
