In this role, the manager will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, which includes conducting competitive and market insights, analyzing trends, and developing launch strategies. Collaboration with various markets is crucial to ensure a comprehensive and timely 360-degree launch. The manager will also oversee the feasibility and profitability of projects through effective cost management and will be involved in the artwork process, ensuring all mechanicals are reviewed and approved. The position requires a digitally and socially savvy marketer who can assess digital needs and develop concepts and assets in alignment with the marketing manager. The manager will need to keep abreast of the latest competitive trends and insights across various platforms, including social media, blogs, print, and television. Working with cross-functional teams, the manager will create integrated consumer launch plans that include hero assets, point-of-sale displays, social media assets, and product detail page copy. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate should have a strong appreciation for the fragrance industry and an affinity for the Ralph Lauren brand, demonstrating leadership, entrepreneurship, and innovation throughout their work.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the concepting and development of Polo brands.
  • Manage projects from ideation to on-counter, including competitive insights and launch strategy.
  • Ensure feasibility and profitability of projects through cost management.
  • Review and approve all artwork mechanicals.
  • Collaborate with Ralph Lauren Agency and key stakeholders.
  • Develop digital concepts and assets in alignment with the marketing manager.
  • Propose need gaps based on competitive landscape analysis.
  • Create integrated consumer launch plans with cross-functional teams.
  • Keep up-to-date on competitive trends across various platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in the beauty industry.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Global Marketing or related marketing work.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with team-oriented skills.
  • Experience in development and launch management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills.
