About the position

The Global Brand Marketing Lead at NIKE, Inc. is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies for a specific category. This role focuses on maximizing brand awareness and sales through effective messaging and media, while managing a team to achieve financial and operational objectives. The position requires strong leadership skills to foster team development and performance management, as well as the ability to translate global marketing strategies into actionable plans for key territories.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, direct, and coordinate the complete marketing plan for a category that drives brand strategies.
  • Create programs to maximize brand awareness and sales through meaningful messaging and media.
  • Apply business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives.
  • Manage team performance, set individual and team goals, and drive performance management.
  • Lead the creation of the category brand plan and multiyear strategy.
  • Communicate the category brand plan with non-key territories and execute in partnership with global teams for key territories.
  • Transform global marketing strategy into categorical and seasonal go-to-market execution.
  • Manage the budget for all category marketing executions.
  • Drive annual concept mapping and lead categorical and seasonal event execution and evaluation.
  • Maintain close relationships with key consumer groups, including sports marketing and regional marketing teams.
  • Lead the development of strategic marketing plans and briefs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Global Business, or International Studies.
  • 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a marketing-related occupation.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in consumer insights and market research.
  • Proficiency in budget allocation management and market strategy.
  • Expertise in brand marketing and management, competitive analysis, and trendspotting.
