About the position

The Global Brand Marketing Manager for WhatsApp is a foundational role within the global marketing organization, responsible for the development and execution of large-scale marketing campaigns that resonate with consumers worldwide. This position requires a proven consumer marketing leader who can bridge global and local marketing efforts, ensuring brand relevance and excellence in execution for billions of users. The role demands analytical rigor, a deep understanding of consumer dynamics, and the ability to deliver impactful marketing strategies that align with both short and long-term business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a pipeline of global consumer campaigns across media, partnerships, experiential, editorial, and creative.
  • Lead the development of campaigns and go-to-market strategy for global brand campaigns and tentpole moments.
  • Drive the global-to-local strategy and operational processes for local consumer marketing brand plans and campaigns.
  • Inform overall global brand strategy based on media performance and creative landscape in key markets.
  • Partner with various teams to identify opportunities and deliver integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Track performance of campaigns to provide data-backed insights for optimization and reporting to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Brand Strategists and Integrated Marketers to deliver on business priorities.

Requirements

  • Experience in leading iconic global brands in both CPG and tech industries.
  • Experience utilizing consumer research and data to drive actionable insights for marketing strategies.
  • Experience in leading large multi-million dollar campaigns with an understanding of communications and media planning.
  • Experience managing multiple campaigns simultaneously and working with various internal and external teams.
  • Experience working with diverse creative and media agencies.
  • A track record in developing compelling consumer communication and breakthrough creative.
  • Experience working with international markets on global brands.
  • Experience in leading communication and building collaborative partnerships across functions.
  • Experience influencing effectively across all levels of management.
