About the position

The Global Brand Marketing Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the creation and delivery of seasonal marketing plans and integrated marketing communications under the guidance of the Global Brand Marketing Manager. This position is essential for ensuring that the brand narrative is compelling and aligns with the commercial outcomes of defined go-to-market (GTM) events and activities. The specialist will work closely with the Essentials Business Unit (BU) marketing team to deliver seasonal go-to-market materials that serve both as sell-in tools for key accounts and sell-through tools for consumer activation. In this role, the specialist will provide general support to the Essentials and Premium BU marketing teams in planning and delivering marketing assets. This includes developing individual asset briefs based on seasonal marketing plans and ensuring that these assets are delivered in accordance with the established marketing framework. The specialist will collaborate with regional and channel planning teams to gain insights on specific channel needs, ensuring a consistent representation of the brand across all platforms. Regular interactions with commercial marketing teams are vital to capture detailed regional requirements and feedback, which will inform future campaigns. The specialist will also partner with the Essentials BU marketing and creative teams to build and maintain comprehensive documentation that communicates how Clarks Essentials brands, such as Clarks Collection and Clarks Cloudsteppers, should be presented in the market. Adherence to these guidelines is crucial across the organization and with key partners, including freelancers and licensing teams. Additionally, the specialist will coordinate all sample orders required for seasonal deliverables, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining good relationships with sample coordinators. The role involves managing the development of both physical and digital point-of-sale (POS) materials that effectively communicate product benefits to consumers. The specialist will track and reconcile spending against the marketing budget, administer purchase orders, and provide accurate monitoring of expenditures. Building and maintaining a competitive monitoring dashboard will be essential for tracking how competitive brands communicate with consumers, which will inform Clarks' strategy and execution. The specialist will also partner with regional marketing teams to track the performance of brand-led assets and develop a content strategy for influencer campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of assets to meet deliverable goals.

Responsibilities

  • Support Essentials BU marketing in the delivery of seasonal go-to-market materials.
  • Provide general support to Essentials + Premium BU marketing in planning and delivery of marketing assets.
  • Develop individual asset briefs based on seasonal marketing plans.
  • Work with regional and channel planning teams to incorporate specific channel needs into asset briefs.
  • Ensure regular interactions with commercial marketing teams to capture regional requirements and feedback.
  • Partner with Essentials BU marketing and creative to maintain documentation for brand presentation.

Requirements

  • Understanding of planning and managing the implementation of marketing initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the creative process from initial brief to final delivery.
  • Good understanding of design, photography, digital and print production processes.
  • Knowledge of performance tracking and key brand, marketing, and creative KPIs.
