About the position

The Global Brand & US Marketing Lead at Intellia Therapeutics is a pivotal leadership role responsible for spearheading the overall brand strategy, execution, and launch preparations for a gene editing therapy in late-stage clinical development. The position requires a strategic thinker who embodies the company's core values and is driven to ensure successful commercialization of innovative treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the brand team by recruiting top industry talent.
  • Serve as a member of the Commercial Leadership Team, contributing to Intellia's commercialization success.
  • Represent the commercial function at the Program Leadership Team, overseeing all cross-functional aspects of the program.
  • Lead the development of the global launch strategy for the assigned brand in collaboration with key functions.
  • Oversee the brand team executing all aspects of brand marketing to stakeholders such as healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Lead the development of market development strategies, coordinating with external agencies and partners.
  • Develop all branding efforts, including naming and creative campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the business operations team to generate insights for launch strategy and planning.
  • Deliver actionable recommendations to the leadership team through analysis and market research.
  • Collaborate across multiple functions including Sales, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, and IT.
  • Oversee external vendors and consultants supporting the brand.
  • Manage the annual budget for the assigned brand.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • At least 3 years of people management experience leading high-performance teams.
  • Experience in pre-launch and launch of products for rare diseases with high competitive intensity.
  • Ability to translate scientific insights into commercial strategies.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional skills in proactivity, planning, prioritization, and execution.
  • Organized and flexible, able to change direction when needed.
  • Confident self-starter who can work independently and creatively, while also being a team player.
  • Demonstrated success in bringing innovative products to patients.
