About the position

The Global Business Continuity Executive Advisor will play a pivotal role in enhancing our business continuity capabilities by leveraging your expertise to transform innovative concepts into successful implementations. This senior-level position is designed for an individual who can advise business leaders, foster resilience within their business areas, and provide strategic guidance to continuously strengthen our global business continuity framework. Your contributions will be essential in driving our journey towards perpetual improvement and resilience enhancement. In this role, you will build deep relationships with business leaders, offering constructive solutions and expert strategies to bolster business resilience. You will serve as the single point of contact for key business leaders regarding all aspects of business continuity planning, support, and management. Leading the end-to-end implementation of the business continuity framework for designated business areas will be a core responsibility, along with contributing to the development of strategic planning for global business continuity programs and initiatives. This will involve leveraging your research, analysis, and experience to inform decision-making. You will also be tasked with developing, implementing, and refining business continuity practices, tools, and methodologies to enhance their effectiveness and maturity. Acting as a liaison with the business, IT, and other partners, you will advocate for the importance and prioritization of business continuity while educating stakeholders on the impact of resilience efforts. Additionally, you will lead designated working groups of resilience professionals to achieve program objectives, providing coaching and mentoring to team members. Collaboration with stakeholders across the enterprise will be crucial to coordinate and execute resilience efforts effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build deep relationships with business leaders, providing constructive solutions and expert strategies to strengthen business resilience.
• Serve as the single point of contact with key business leaders for all aspects of business continuity planning, support, and management.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the business continuity framework for designated business areas.
• Contribute to the development of strategic planning for global business continuity programs and initiatives, leveraging research, analysis, and experience.
• Develop, implement, and improve upon business continuity practices, tools, and methodologies to improve their effectiveness and maturity.
• Act as a liaison with the business, IT, and other partners to advocate for the importance and prioritization of business continuity, and to educate on the impact of resilience efforts.
• Serve as the lead for designated working group(s) of resilience professionals to achieve program objectives, including coaching and mentoring team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the enterprise to coordinate and execute resilience efforts.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study.
• Minimum of 12 years' experience in monitoring and measuring information technology processes, tools and standard practices for multiple technical and/or business disciplines.

Nice-to-haves

• Business Resiliency/Business Continuity certifications strongly preferred.
• Strong and flexible communication skills, including at the executive level, with the ability to tailor messaging to varied audiences is strongly preferred.
• Experience driving successful outcomes in a large and complex organization with a global footprint is strongly preferred.
• Experience using Generative AI and/or Business Intelligence (BI) for information comparison and analysis is preferred.
• Experience with project management methodology, tools and processes is preferred.
• Relevant certification in applicable domain, such as Project Management, Quality, Availability, and/or Reliability is preferred.
