About the position

The Global Business Intelligence Analyst position at Randstad US is designed to foster a data-driven culture within the organization, empowering leaders to integrate data into their daily decision-making processes and strategic planning. The business intelligence team is committed to providing visibility, transparency, and guidance regarding key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational activities. This role is pivotal in ensuring that data is effectively utilized to identify trends and support data-based decision-making across various operational teams and clients within the RSR framework. As a BI Business Partner, the analyst will take on both operational and technical responsibilities, focusing on reporting, analytics, and the development of visualization dashboards for all operating companies within RSR. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including data engineering teams and BI support teams, to deliver comprehensive business solutions through data. The analyst will oversee the end-to-end delivery of BI reporting for accounts and clients, ensuring that the data provided is actionable and insightful. This includes creating dashboards that translate complex data into meaningful visualizations and insights, which will be used to mitigate risks and identify revenue-generating opportunities. The role also involves implementing and reinforcing standards, procedures, and documentation to ensure that all reporting processes are accurate and timely. The analyst will be responsible for maintaining a quality management program, ensuring that all data sources are integrated effectively, and executing continuous process improvements. Additionally, the analyst will serve as a liaison between operational teams and data engineering, using client data to provide observations and recommendations that contribute to ongoing business discussions and decision-making. The position emphasizes the importance of building strong relationships with client stakeholders and account leads, as well as promoting available resources and tools for operational training and coaching needs from a BI perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation workstream responsible for delivering a reporting suite and introductory standards for accounts and clients.
  • Provide recommendations on organizing tier-based program offerings for DOMO/Talent Radar.
  • Ensure all contractual conditions around reporting, financial elements, SLAs, and KPIs are reviewed and adhered to.
  • Assess operating realities to validate solution requirements and adjust as needed.
  • Implement and reinforce tools, standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Ensure the team maintains living documentation on each client billing and reporting process.
  • Oversee the design and build of insightful, scalable, and actionable visualizations.
  • Develop, document, and maintain a comprehensive quality management program.
  • Build, implement, and schedule production standards of files and reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure reporting quality and accuracy by evaluating and integrating data sources.
  • Execute continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between consumers/operations teams and data engineering teams.
  • Use client data to highlight observations and provide recommendations for service delivery performance improvements.
  • Work with account leadership to maximize revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders to contribute to BI team objectives and demonstrate RSR value.
  • Contribute to the success of a wider global team.
  • Qualify business needs of requests and partner on solutions.
  • Develop strong working relationships with client stakeholders and account leads.
  • Serve as a functional and technical data visualization and business intelligence subject matter expert.
  • Advise clients during sales and solution design processes.
  • Work within agreed parameters aligned to the global method of BI production.
  • Focus on delivery of RSR data lake and available benchmarking tools.
  • Leverage an agile work environment to incorporate innovative components to existing portfolios.
  • Organize feedback standards from stakeholders to create use case materials and customer-facing documentation.
  • Promote available resources and enterprise tools for operations training and coaching needs from a BI perspective.
  • Ensure data governance principles and guidelines are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred; Master's degree a plus.
  • Project Management and/or process improvement experience highly preferred.
  • Background in MI/Business Intelligence/Data Science/Analytics is essential.
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition/MSP/RPO/People Analytics is preferred.
  • Experience in the recruitment industry (e.g., MSP/RPO) and/or B2B marketing.
  • Experience with Domo and GCP is required.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous information into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Ability to mine data and develop new data sources, translating data into compelling stories.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for various organizational levels.
  • Excellent presentation skills for delivering solutions to executive-level clients.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement and workflow skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, including macros and pivot tables.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Google products and visualization tools like Domo and Tableau.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining quality.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Ability to create meaningful insights aligned with business priorities and objectives.
  • Ability to write SQL scripts and experience in data pipeline creation.

  • Data visualization skills; ability to interpret data for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience demonstrating technical client service (consulting experience).
