About the position

The Global Business Intelligence Analyst position at Randstad US is designed to foster a data-driven culture within the organization, empowering leaders to integrate data into their daily decision-making and strategic planning processes. The business intelligence team aims to provide visibility, transparency, and guidance regarding key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and operational activities, enabling stakeholders to identify trends and make informed decisions based on data insights. In this role, the analyst will partner with various BI customers, including data engineering, BI support teams, operational teams, and internal stakeholders, to deliver business solutions through data. The analyst will have operational and technical responsibilities for reporting, analytics, and visualization dashboards across all operating companies within RSR. This includes developing processes and strategies to consolidate, automate, and enhance reporting and dashboards for both external clients and internal stakeholders. As a BI Business Partner, the analyst will oversee the end-to-end delivery of account and client BI reporting, collaborating with data engineering to provide usable datasets and create insightful dashboards using the BI solution, DOMO. The role requires a commercial and operational expert who can translate data into actionable insights, mitigate risks, and identify operational and revenue-generating opportunities. The analyst will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual conditions related to reporting, financial elements, service level agreements (SLAs), and KPIs, while continuously improving processes and maintaining high-quality reporting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation workstream responsible for delivering a reporting suite and introductory standards for accounts and clients.
  • Provide recommendations on organizing tier-based program offerings for DOMO/Talent Radar.
  • Ensure all contractual conditions around reporting, financial elements, SLAs, and KPIs are reviewed and adhered to.
  • Assess operating realities to validate solution requirements and make necessary adjustments.
  • Implement and reinforce tools, standards, procedures, and documentation.
  • Maintain living documentation on each client billing and reporting process.
  • Oversee the design and build of insightful, scalable, and actionable visualizations.
  • Develop, document, and maintain a comprehensive quality management program.
  • Build, implement, and schedule production standards of files and reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Evaluate, integrate, and complement data sources to ensure reporting quality and accuracy.
  • Execute continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between consumers/operations teams and data engineering teams.
  • Use client data to provide insights and recommendations for ongoing business discussions.
  • Highlight potential approaches for improvement in service delivery performance.
  • Work with account leadership to maximize revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Solicit feedback from stakeholders to contribute to BI team objectives.
  • Contribute to the success of a wider global team.
  • Qualify business needs and partner on solutions.
  • Develop strong working relationships with client stakeholders and account leads.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in data visualization and business intelligence.
  • Advise clients during sales and solution design processes.
  • Work within agreed parameters aligned to global BI production methods.
  • Focus on delivering RSR data lake and benchmarking tools for predictive analytics goals.
  • Incorporate innovative components into existing portfolios in an agile work environment.
  • Organize feedback standards from stakeholders to create use case materials and customer-facing documentation.
  • Promote available resources and enterprise tools for operations training and coaching needs from a BI perspective.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance principles and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Project Management and/or process improvement experience is highly preferred.
  • Background in MI/Business Intelligence/Data Science/Analytics is essential.
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition/MSP/RPO/People Analytics is preferred.
  • Experience in the recruitment industry (e.g., MSP/RPO) and/or B2B marketing is beneficial.
  • Experience with Domo and GCP is required.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous information into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Proficiency in mining data and developing new data sources.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills for various organizational levels.
  • Strong presentation skills for delivering solutions to executive-level clients.
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement and process documentation skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, including macros and pivot tables.
  • Familiarity with Google products and visualization tools like Domo and Tableau.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining quality.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Ability to create meaningful insights aligned with business priorities and objectives.
  • Experience in data pipeline creation and quality improvement for actionable insights.
  • Experience with analytics tools and technical client service (consulting experience).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
