About the position

The Global Business Revenue Operations (GBRO) team at Oracle is dedicated to enhancing the systems, tools, business processes, and operations that support both direct and indirect business lines. Our mission is to create an exceptional experience that empowers our internal sales teams and partner ecosystem to achieve their business objectives and revenue targets. We are responsible for designing, building, and managing the mechanisms that drive commercial growth within the organization. As a Commercial Business Analyst within the newly established Commercial Business team, you will play a pivotal role in performing business analysis activities specifically for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This position requires you to collaborate with various stakeholders across Oracle to gain a comprehensive understanding of business priorities and to provide insights that highlight key areas of opportunity. Your analysis will support executive meetings, cross-organizational initiatives, and ad hoc updates across both direct and indirect business lines. You will also be instrumental in optimizing our sales processes and supporting continuous improvement programs across GBRO. In this role, you will engage with executive audiences to identify business needs and requirements, conduct thorough analyses of business processes and data, and work with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with top business priorities. You will leverage data to develop hypotheses and insights that will inform executive updates and critical decision-making. Your ability to communicate findings and recommendations clearly and concisely will be essential as you partner closely with the Global Rev Ops Analytics team and various divisions to drive operational reporting requirements and provide ad hoc analysis aligned with key initiatives. Additionally, you will summarize key issues and insights to educate broader GBRO stakeholders on opportunities across the business, while staying informed about industry trends and best practices to identify further improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with stakeholders, including executive audiences, to identify business needs and requirements
  • Conducts thorough analysis of business processes and data to identify areas for improvement for OCI
  • Works with cross-functional team to design and implement solutions that meet the top business priorities
  • Leverages data to develop hypotheses and points of view to support executive updates and critical insights
  • Communicates findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner
  • Partners closely with Global Rev Ops Analytics team and Divisions to drive operational reporting requirements and provide ad hoc analysis aligned to top initiatives
  • Collaborates with sales & partner process owners to influence their roadmaps and design considerations for optimization
  • Summarizes key issues and business insights to educate broader GBRO stakeholders on opportunities across the business
  • Stays up to date with industry trends and best practices to identify opportunities for improvement

Requirements

  • Deep analytics and business analysis skills
  • Experience in cloud sales or operations, demonstrating an understanding of common sales motions
  • Ability to communicate data into relevant insights and support compelling presentations
  • Ability and drive to cover a range of activities from executive presentations to hands-on, deep dives as it pertains to top priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to flexibly adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
