About the position

The Global Category Manager for MPF & Circon Business Units at Reworld is responsible for the strategic management of equipment and services spending, amounting to approximately $220 million annually. This role involves planning, directing, and monitoring procurement activities to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, reliability, and sustainability. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies that align with the company's sustainability goals and operational priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and monitor procurement activities for MPF requirements.
  • Develop integrated strategies for all categories supporting MPF business objectives.
  • Manage multiple procurement engagements and execute complex sourcing events.
  • Negotiate agreements to ensure seamless delivery of material supply.
  • Develop and implement strategies that optimize total cost of ownership for assigned spend categories.
  • Monitor and ensure contract compliance and procurement policies.
  • Manage supplier development and relationships to ensure quality and service standards.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to drive procurement efficiency.
  • Contribute to the broader Strategic Sourcing and supply management agenda.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive contracts experience, focusing on process equipment, environmental services, and capital construction contracts.
  • Strong negotiation skills and analytical ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and build consensus across stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using PeopleSoft ERP, Jaggaer, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Related certifications in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Global procurement experience.
