We are seeking a Global Compensation and Rewards Lead responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining our compensation and rewards programs. This role will involve close collaboration with functional HR Business Partners and Regional HR teams in North America and EMEA/APAC. Reporting to the VP of Global Human Resources, the successful candidate will lead the implementation and design of compensation programs and guidelines that align with our compensation philosophy and strategy, while also maintaining existing programs. Key responsibilities include partnering with HRBPs, Business Leaders, and Regional HR to design compensation programs and provide consultation for complex compensation issues. The role will also involve developing global compensation frameworks, career ladders, and competencies, as well as regional retention and employee recognition programs. Additionally, the Global Compensation and Rewards Lead will drive the merit cycle for base pay management, the Management Incentive Program, and the Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP). The position requires managing market research and benchmarking, contributing to the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee, and reviewing the effectiveness of existing compensation policies. The successful candidate will develop and lead the company's comprehensive strategy for Total Rewards, ensuring that compensation and benefits programs are compelling and equitable, aimed at attracting and retaining world-class talent in a competitive environment. Continuous evaluation of rewards programs to ensure alignment with business and talent strategies is essential, as is monitoring market trends to make recommendations for changes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and design of compensation programs and guidelines that align with the company's compensation philosophy and strategy.
  • Partner with HRBPs, Business Leaders, and Regional HR to design compensation programs and provide consultation for complex compensation issues.
  • Develop global compensation frameworks such as job ranges, leveling, and mapping to align with business needs.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs to develop career ladders and competencies.
  • Work with HRBPs to create regional retention programs and employee recognition programs.
  • Develop educational materials, tools, and guidelines in partnership with the L&D team to support plans, policies, and processes.
  • Drive the merit cycle for base pay management, the Management Incentive Program, and the LTIP plan.
  • Manage market research and benchmarking for compensation.
  • Contribute to the preparation of materials for the Compensation Committee.
  • Review the effectiveness of existing compensation policies and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and lead the company's comprehensive strategy for Total Rewards, focusing on equitable compensation and benefits programs.
  • Provide strategic direction and planning for the design, implementation, communication, and administration of compensation programs, including short- and long-term incentives and executive compensation.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of rewards programs to ensure alignment with business and talent strategies.
  • Monitor market trends to make recommendations for changes and stay ahead of competitors.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of compensation and rewards experience, preferably in a global technology organization.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or a related field.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of Global/International Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefits.
  • Strong understanding of systems, compliance, and financials that enable the execution of compensation and rewards programs.
  • Strong qualitative, analytical, and organizational skills to interpret compensation metrics.
  • Expert level in Excel.
  • Experience with Workday compensation and benefits module is a plus.
