About the position

The Global Controller for Sales & Purchasing at Veoneer Safety Systems is responsible for providing global controlling expertise to support the Sales and Purchasing functions. This role involves business development activities, data analysis, and reporting to ensure a world-class organization. The Global Controller will manage the interaction between regional purchasing controlling activities and drive the organization towards defined measurements and KPIs, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide global controlling expertise to Sales & Purchasing functions.
• Support business development activities through analysis and reports.
• Act as a Data Steward for global Sales and Purchasing systems.
• Manage global interaction between functional Purchasing controlling regional activities.
• Track and report on commercial actions such as APRs, Claims, and Repricing.
• Prepare and implement work connected to Purchasing definitions in the Purchasing Control Manual.
• Facilitate correct reporting according to PCM.
• Drive the Purchasing Forecast process and ensure data integrity.
• Implement the global Purchasing IT Strategy.
• Manage Purchasing Master Data and Contracts.
• Prepare and support reporting and organize follow-up meetings.
• Manage the Global Conflict Mineral database and reporting.
• Drive process improvement and value-add Purchasing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in sales, purchasing, and/or business controlling.
• Experience working in multinational companies.
• Ability to work towards deadlines.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in OBIEE and HRM is an advantage.
