About the position

The Global Data Conversion Template and Platform Lead is responsible for building a global data migration platform in collaboration with Mars' partner, Syniti. This role focuses on data analysis, cleansing, transformation, and loading of data to the S4 target, ensuring alignment with enterprise functionality and segment-specific enhancements. The position requires effective communication and management of partners to navigate the complexities of data migration projects.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of Syniti ADMM platform for Mars for Digital Core project
• Establish required governance to ensure reliability and supportability of platform for the duration of data migration
• Define operating model for Data Factory with partners, including resources, tools, and governance processes for data migration
• Lead development and testing of Enterprise data migration Template
• Collaborate with Segment Template development and deployment team
• Oversee handover of Enterprise Template to Segment development
• Set up post-implementation review and Template improvement process with partners and deployment team
• Collaborate with MDG, S4, Global Process Owners, and Segment leads to ensure Template is fit for purpose
• Regularly review and report deliverables against agreed plan
• Drive communication and results.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or similar, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Management in a complex environment
• 3-5 years of recent experience in leading data migration activities
• Knowledge of SAP ECC, S4/HANA data models for master data domains
• Experience with ETL tools
• Experience delivering data migration projects using Syniti ADMM product is highly desirable
• Good communication skills for clear and concise communication to senior management
• Delivery oriented with the ability to adapt to changing deadlines or dependencies
• Experience managing partners and working closely with 2-3 third-party partners on shared deliverables
• Ability to operate in a rapidly changing project environment and navigate uncertainties
• Proactive stakeholder management to understand and manage expectations.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Collibra Data Quality, Business Catalogue, and lineage is an advantage
• Experience with Azure platform capabilities and other modern integration (ETL), API, and Database technologies.
