About the position

The Global Demand Planner at MilliporeSigma plays a crucial role in the End-to-End Supply Chain Organization, focusing on managing the demand forecast for a specific Business Field within the Science & Lab Solutions product portfolio. This position is essential for ensuring product availability, supporting new product introductions, and evaluating sales and market dynamics. The role requires collaboration with various teams to optimize planning and improve overall supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the demand forecast for the product portfolio globally to sustain product availability.
• Support new product introductions and evaluate sales and market dynamics.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure the right products are available in the right quantity and place to meet customer demand.
• Drive and support continuous global improvement activities to enhance supply chain performance.
• Participate in the development of Integrated Business Management processes and information flows with partners such as Sales, Marketing, Network Planning, and Production Planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or other Business field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in Demand Planning, Operations, or Supply Chain Management.
• Proven track record of managing performance through monitoring key metrics like forecast accuracy, inventory, fill rate, and backorder.
• General knowledge of Science & Lab Solutions or similar business portfolios.
• Strong interpersonal skills for managing relationships with customers, suppliers, and departmental resources.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAP, Oracle, and Advanced Planning Systems (Logility, etc.).
• Well-developed analytical skills and strong business acumen.
• Ability to lead or coordinate cross-functional teams.
