About the position

As a Global Demand Planning Tech Expert at Mondelēz International, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning and execution of software and applications that are essential for our supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage an internal team while collaborating with external suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions that align with our business goals. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and market knowledge to identify and deploy the right software and application solutions that will drive our future success in snacking. In this role, you will support various programs aimed at implementing regional and global software and application strategies. You will also provide valuable input to financial planning and controls related to software and applications on both regional and global levels. Your collaboration with management will involve following up on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments, while exploring opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings. Ensuring that support service level objectives and key performance indicators are met will be a critical aspect of your responsibilities. This position is hybrid-based, with a preference for 1-2 days in the East Hanover, New Jersey office, but we are open to remote work options for candidates in the U.S. and Canada, as well as those who can work from our locations in Santa Fe, Mexico, and São Paulo, Brazil.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning and execution of software and applications for demand planning.
  • Manage an internal team and partner with external suppliers to implement software solutions.
  • Support programs to implement regional and global software and application strategies.
  • Provide input to financial planning and controls for software and applications.
  • Collaborate with management on requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage scale and drive savings in software and application services.
  • Ensure support service level objectives and key performance indicators are accomplished.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning.
  • 4-5 years of implementation experience with business platform solutions like o9, JDA/Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, SAP IBP/APO.
  • Experience managing large-scale software and application services.
  • Strong program/project management skills with experience managing multiple projects for budgets, resources, schedules, and quality.
  • General technical background with an understanding of integration between different applications.
  • Process and service orientation with knowledge of business processes.
  • Expertise in Demand Planning processes and technology implementation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in delivering Digital Supply Chain transformation initiatives for Demand Planning.
  • Strong process knowledge of supply chain planning, sales and operations planning, and reporting.
  • Experience in designing solutions for Advanced Statistical forecasting and generating consensus forecasts.
  • Expertise in data integration and modeling.
  • Good understanding of demand sensing solutions with modeling external downstream demand signals.
