About the position

As a Global Product Manager in the Patient Care Solutions (PCS) segment, specifically within Anesthesia & Respiratory Care (ARC), you will play a pivotal role in managing components of the Surgical & Procedural Care Digital Ecosystem related to anesthesia. This position requires you to leverage strong relationships across executive leadership, product management, engineering, and functional groups to create and execute a strategic innovation roadmap for digital applications. Your work will be crucial in advancing the vision of precision health, enabling clinicians to deliver enhanced patient care through innovative solutions. In this role, you will engage with clinicians and hospital administrators at both business and technical levels to develop and refine the portfolio strategy. You will influence customer direction and execute strategies that elevate engagement with internal digital teams and external technology partners. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the successful enablement, delivery, and activation of application solutions, making prioritized recommendations for extending solutions across various use cases, and representing GE HealthCare in the market. You will be tasked with profitably growing the digital portfolio of solutions, integrating efforts across product development, functional partners, and commercial and service teams. Analyzing market trends and opportunities will be essential, as you will translate these insights into winning business strategies and lead coordinated execution with high accountability for results. You will refine and own the vision, strategy, and innovation roadmap for your solutions, proactively influencing portfolio and driving investment decisions that balance customer needs with business strategy and competitive differentiation. Additionally, you will drive go-to-market strategies for new product introductions (NPIs) and upgrades, collaborating closely with marketing and commercial teams. Establishing and managing strategic alliances and partnerships with both external organizations and internal platform partners will be a key aspect of your role. As a domain expert, you will champion business model innovation and industry-leading digital methodologies to guide capital allocation and measure customer and business success. Your ability to establish and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, customers, and partners will be critical in optimizing the utilization of systems and managing escalations effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Profitably grow the digital portfolio of solutions, integrating across product development, functional partners, commercial and service teams.
  • Analyze market trends and opportunities, translate them into winning business strategies, and lead coordinated execution with high accountability for results.
  • Refine and own the vision, strategy, and innovation roadmap for your solution.
  • Proactively influence portfolio and drive investment decisions balancing customer needs, business strategy, and competitive differentiation.
  • Drive go to market strategies for NPIs and upgrades, working closely with marketing and commercial teams.
  • Develop and manage strategic alliances and partnerships with both external organizations and internal platform partners.
  • Become a domain expert & the spokesperson for your portion of the PCS digital portfolio.
  • Champion business model innovation, and industry leading, digital friendly methodologies to guide capital allocation and measure customer and business success.
  • Establish and manage relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, customers, and partners.
  • Manage customer installed base to optimize utilization of system, updates/upgrades, manage escalations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalency in Business, Healthcare, Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), or related field.
  • 6 years experience in a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in MedTech digital product management and development, partner management, or a similar role.
  • Competency in modern digital technologies (Cloud technologies, Web & Mobile application development and deployment) and SaaS business models.
  • Ability to travel 20-30% (both domestic and international).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Evangelizes concepts beyond current offerings and considers business model innovation (product, service and delivery innovations).
  • Defines and/or influences pricing strategy for product/services and alignment across functions and organizations.
  • Aligns goals, feature sets, capabilities to business objectives for the product (i.e. Profitability, ROI, Market Penetration, Channel development, Brand Development, etc.).
  • Expertise in Healthcare IT standards and Employee Medical Records (EMR) integration practices.
  • A solid understanding of clinical workflows and needs in healthcare settings.
