The Global Director, Credit & Accounts Receivable will play a pivotal role in leading the Global Credit & Accounts Receivable functions within the Shared Services organization. This position reports directly to the Sr Director of Global Finance Shared Services and is responsible for overseeing teams that support critical processes throughout the order-to-cash cycle. The individual will work closely with strategic leaders, particularly within Sales and Customer Care teams, to ensure that customer receivables are managed effectively while fostering a positive experience for stakeholders. The role requires a focus on the evolution of Shared Services strategic growth and leading global teams with an emphasis on utilizing best-in-class tools and robust processes. This position is highly visible and necessitates consistent collaboration with Segment Finance and Sales leadership. Key responsibilities include overseeing Accounts Receivable processes within Shared Services, which involves managing and standardizing procedures for credit assessment and extension, collection of receivables, cash application, and forecasting accounts receivable and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). The Global Director will collaborate with leadership across the entire order-to-cash cycle and various cross-functional organizations to achieve company goals, bringing insights and ideas to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness. As the global process owner, the individual will lead the migration to a centralized function, ensuring outstanding customer service while maintaining high integrity in financial systems and compliance with company policies and internal controls. The role also involves leading strategic projects through analytical decision-making, interfacing with key personnel, and identifying opportunities for automation and enhancements that drive efficiencies. The Global Director will establish goals and monitor key performance metrics to assess the quality and efficiency of credit and collection processes, ensuring effective internal controls and proper training for teams. Additionally, the individual will execute Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance related to accounting and reporting processes, while maintaining a motivated organization through effective selection, training, feedback, coaching, and recognition of staff.
