About the position

The Global Engineer Leader at Flowserve US Inc. is responsible for overseeing the development and management of engineering products related to control and isolation valves, actuation and automation, and smart valve devices. This role requires a strong background in engineering, particularly in industrial automation, and involves managing global teams to ensure product compliance and innovation. The position emphasizes the importance of creating a robust Intellectual Property portfolio and ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and sustain products in areas such as control valves, isolation valves, actuation and automation, and smart valve devices.
• Manage global teams in matrix organizations, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
• Translate complex digital requirements into compelling products that meet customer needs.
• Create and maintain a strong Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio to drive product differentiation.
• Ensure products comply with industry requirements including FM, CSA, INMetro, IECex, ATEX, CE, and CCC.
• Utilize capacity planning tools and business forecasts to address engineering capacity gaps for projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Industrial Automation plus 15+ years of relevant experience.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience with a proven track record in product delivery.
• At least 8 years of experience managing people and 5 years managing global teams.
• Experience in translating complex digital requirements into innovative products.
• Ability to create a strong Intellectual Property (IP) portfolio.
• Knowledge of industry compliance requirements and due diligence processes.
