About the position

The Global Event Demand Generation Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a pivotal role responsible for driving demand generation for global summits. This position requires collaboration with central and Geo field events teams worldwide to implement best practices that enhance customer experiences and ensure continuous improvement based on data insights. The manager will develop and optimize the go-to-market demand generation strategy, ensuring that campaigns effectively meet lead generation and pipeline goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record in executing strategic lead generation campaigns that successfully drive new customer acquisition and generate pipeline. In this role, the manager will lead initiatives to globalize the demand generation strategy and enhance the online experience for tier 1 in-person and virtual events. This includes collaborating with a diverse ecosystem of global and regional stakeholders to define strategies for digital marketing and lead generation campaigns. The responsibilities encompass project management, development, quality assurance of campaign materials, implementation, and reporting. The manager will also be responsible for planning and reporting on campaign status, priorities, action items, and risks, ensuring that all teams have the necessary information and assets to deliver their key priorities effectively. The position requires the creation and optimization of marketing content, including emails, landing pages, and templates, to enable digital marketing efforts at scale across various MarTech tools. The manager will analyze data to support feasibility and registration goals, report on key success metrics, and apply insights to enhance processes for continuous improvement. Additionally, the role involves managing external agency relationships to augment team capacity and ensure strong ROI on campaigns. The Global Event Demand Generation Manager will play a crucial role in setting and executing the global strategy for driving demand generation for tier 1 events, from strategy development to launch, reporting, and optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive demand generation for global summits in collaboration with central and Geo field events teams.
  • Implement best practices to enhance customer experiences globally and make continuous improvements based on data insights.
  • Develop and optimize the go-to-market demand generation strategy to meet lead generation and pipeline goals.
  • Lead initiatives to globalize demand generation strategy and online experience for tier 1 in-person and virtual events.
  • Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to define strategies for digital marketing and lead generation campaigns.
  • Manage project planning and reporting, including status updates, priorities, action items, and risk management.
  • Create and optimize marketing content such as emails, landing pages, and templates for digital marketing.
  • Analyze data to support registration, attendance, and pipeline goals, and report on key success metrics.
  • Manage external agency relationships to enhance team capacity and ensure strong ROI on campaigns.
  • Deliver clear communication with stakeholders regarding strategy, tactics, goals, and performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs or campaigns from concept to completion.
  • Ability to build strategic marketing plans and execute at a tactical level.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements in marketing efforts.
  • Proven track record of building and executing strategic lead generation campaigns that drive new customer acquisition.
