This position is focused on two primary areas: Business Connectivity and Operational Excellence. The individual in this role will be responsible for ensuring that operational standards are met and that key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved across the external manufacturing portfolio. This includes ensuring supply assurance and predictability by managing On Time in Full (OTIF) and Schedule Adherence to meet planning requirements. The role also involves ensuring that Critical to Quality attributes are understood and adhered to at all CoPack locations, as well as delivering required audits and maintaining inventory activities in compliance with SOX regulations. In addition to operational responsibilities, the External Operations Manager will actively participate in commercialization teams, serving as the “Make” lead, and will partner with Procurement, Production Services, and Quality on new site assessments. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with cross-functional teams to influence and implement improvements that ensure successful change management. The manager will also be responsible for monitoring and tracking operational performance metrics of suppliers and external manufacturers, escalating critical issues as necessary. The position also includes direct report responsibilities, which encompass task management, performance management, and talent development. The External Operations Manager will engage with external manufacturers to confirm production availability and lead various processes related to SAP master data management, cycle counts, and invoice approvals. This hybrid role requires a strong ability to lead, empower, and influence others while thriving in ambiguous situations, demonstrating Clorox's leadership model dimensions throughout their work.
