About the position
The Global Field Excellence Lead - Digital at Corteva Agriscience is responsible for leading global digital agronomy projects aimed at enhancing yield, quality, and reliability in seed production. This role involves strategic planning, innovation, and collaboration with various teams to implement digital tools and processes that improve agronomic practices. The position requires strong leadership skills to guide the Decision Agronomy Manager team and drive the adoption of digital solutions across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the global Decision Agronomy Manager team and guide investments into digital field tools and infrastructure.
- Develop and execute the GSO Digital Agronomy Strategy to integrate digital tools into daily agronomy work.
- Collaborate with Field Excellence, Production Research, and Shared Services to maximize seed yield and quality.
- Foster an innovative culture and act as a change agent within the organization.
- Plan and document value capture from business investments in digital tools.
- Enhance field data quality and analyze data for informed decision-making.
- Serve as a business sponsor for core field digital products and partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Ag Business, Agronomy, Business, Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in implementing technology to drive business results.
- Strong understanding of Production Agriculture and Agronomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ability to manage conflict and navigate ambiguity.
- Proven leadership skills to motivate others for high performance.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
