About the position

The Acquisition Program Manager for the Global Hawk program at DCS Corp will provide comprehensive acquisition program management support to the US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. This role involves overseeing various programmatic duties to ensure the successful execution of the Global Hawk acquisition mission, including managing program changes, monitoring performance, and assisting in financial planning and contract management.

Responsibilities

  • Apply acquisition program management philosophies, policies, and procedures to support Global Hawk programs/projects.
  • Manage and monitor assigned programs, including cost, schedule, performance issues, risks, and contract status.
  • Assist in planning and controlling the Comprehensive Cost and Requirements (CCaR) management system.
  • Activate and monitor project Purchase Request (PR) funding loads within CCaR.
  • Manage the Global Hawk weapon system Integrated Master Plans/Integrated Master Schedules (IMP/IMS).
  • Assist with planning and control of Global Hawk weapon system capabilities master schedules and testing schedules.
  • Monitor prime contractor's efforts in design, development, testing, and fielding of Engineering Change Proposals (ECP).
  • Assess system operational performance against validated operational requirements.
  • Write and develop contract SOW documents and CDRLs, and participate in contract proposal evaluations.
  • Monitor USAF and USN RQ-4 program statuses and assess interdependency impacts to acquisition projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field.
  • 15 years of experience in program management, with at least 5 years in the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • An adjudicated DoD Secret Security clearance on the first day of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
