About the position

The Global HR Compensation Analyst 2 role is designed to support essential compensation efforts across various departments within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This mid-level position requires senior professional knowledge and involves working under minimal supervision to handle complex compensation issues. The analyst will collaborate closely with HR department leaders and teams, contributing to market pricing, job analysis, and compensation consultations. This position is timebound and approved through November 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Performing salary comparisons for jobs (Market Pricing)
  • Performing global job analysis (eIPE)
  • Providing promotion and salary adjustment consultation
  • Conducting Compensation analysis
  • Assisting with US geographic pay administration and analysis
  • Providing input into Org-wide Compensation Executive Presentations (PBO, HRC, IBC, etc.)
  • Providing input into Job Evaluation guidelines and process administration
  • Consulting on Special Pay and Allowance Exceptions & Decisions
  • Providing compensation & merit consulting/guidance
  • Performing compensation reporting and analytics
  • Reviewing promotion exceptions and audits (Compensation Council)
  • Overseeing 4-Year Job Description Review for assigned departments
  • Coordinating completion of Job Evaluation meeting and material preparation
  • Assisting in Annual Merit Process Management
  • Assisting in Bring to Minimum Process Management
  • Participating in Pay equity analysis, audits, and legal consultation with departments
  • Providing training on Job Code Management and Maintenance
  • Assisting with Compensation Salary Survey Requests, Analysis, & Contract/Vendor Relationship Management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 4 years industry-related experience
  • Advanced HR operational knowledge
  • Familiarity with best practices of HR functions

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Certified Compensation Professional
