About the position

The Global Integration Engineer Staff position at Lockheed Martin involves engineering, developing, and integrating capabilities for the Missile Defense System. The role is part of the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Global team, which operates in a fast-paced environment focused on enhancing missile defense technologies. The engineer will work on tasks such as sensor/weapon integration, algorithm development, and automated testing, while collaborating with a diverse team of technical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Integrating JEMINI Lab test suites in the development lab.
• Assisting software development personnel with issue investigation and resolution.
• Creating and modifying scripts for data analysis of message data.
• Troubleshooting test and prototype issues and developing procedures and work-around documents.
• Automating scripting to configure and maintain remote hosts.

Requirements

• An active final secret clearance is required prior to starting.
• Extremely proficient in Linux and scripting (bash, python).
• High-level understanding of automation and implementation.
• Highly proficient in troubleshooting methods.
• Working knowledge of virtualized environments and software testing.
• Experience in the integration of system components within a test environment.
• Familiarity with virtualized systems and security design and implementation.
• Previous experience as a SW Tester/Integrator.
• Hands-on experience with DoD/other integration processes, Agile and DevOps methodologies, and automated test tools.

Nice-to-haves

• TS clearance is a plus.
• Experience developing scripts in Ansible.
• Knowledge of Containerized Virtual Environments.
• Experience with Windows Server and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience setting up, configuring, and maintaining databases.
