About the position

The Global Inventory Manager will be a key member of the Tools & Outdoor Global Inventory Strategy team, responsible for managing global inventory to enhance customer fill rates, optimize working capital, and implement cost-efficient logistics solutions. This role operates in a fast-paced environment and requires collaboration with various teams to drive improvements in inventory planning and execution of global strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver strong results of all metrics involving inventory plan, revised forecasts, days inventory on hand, service rate metrics and excess and obsolete.
  • Drive improvement of the Tool and Outdoor's global inventory planning policy and strategy while partnering with Planning Governance, ensuring safety stock, cycle stock, excess and obsolete targets are met.
  • Collaborate with global and regional planning leadership to implement plans and deliver global strategy, while executing and monitoring progress against objectives.
  • Review regional monthly inventory projections and analyze variances with objective guidance as needed.
  • Responsible for global and regional monthly excess and obsolete inventory analysis to identify areas of opportunity, while integrating with Controllership reserve policies.
  • Standardize process mapping, and create supply chain capabilities via playbooks.
  • Be responsible for the total inventory of an assigned region; ensuring service level metrics and inventory targets are achievable.
  • Facilitate meetings with various teams consisting of sourcing, planning, finance, brand and sales management.
  • Contribute information to various S&OP and S&OE meetings.
  • Special projects as assigned, with up to 10% domestic travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of supply planning experience.
  • Strong communication and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to build productive relationships while working towards the big picture.
  • Strong data analysis skills (Excel, PowerBI, BW, other reporting systems).
  • Computer systems proficiency (SAP ECC & IBP, JDA, MS Office products).
