About the position

The Global ISV Sr. Marketing Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies specifically for the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) segment worldwide. This role involves leading high-impact marketing initiatives, collaborating with regional stakeholders, and ensuring effective go-to-market strategies that resonate with the ISV ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess a strong marketing background, particularly in technology and cloud computing, and will be adept at navigating complex environments to drive marketing success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market plan for the long-tail strategy, aimed at increasing market share and penetration amongst ISVs.
  • Create and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns focused on demand generation, supporting conversion goals for the ISV segment.
  • Migrate proven global programs from other long-tail projects to the ISV segment, including Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) and Start-Ups.
  • Collaborate with the broader ISV Marketing organization to develop joint marketing plans, targeting ISVs as customers and partners.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities related to Software Companies, ensuring strategic alignment.
  • Work closely with the Segments Content team to produce compelling ISV-focused content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for ISV marketing activities, ensuring data-driven decisions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the ISV segment audience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in technology marketing, preferably in the ISV or cloud computing space
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful global marketing programs
  • Demonstrated understanding of B2B marketing strategies and tactics
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems

Nice-to-haves

  • 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance stakeholders with global footprint
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • ISV (Independent Software Vendor) ecosystem experience
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
