About the position

The Global Key Account Manager at 3M is responsible for managing one of the company's Global Strategic Accounts within the Personal Care Business. This role focuses on driving growth, innovation, and developing key relationships with one of 3M's largest accounts. The position requires collaboration with diverse teams and the ability to navigate complex customer needs while ensuring alignment with division goals.

Responsibilities

  • Attaining Annual Sales Forecast
  • Driving sales growth and competitive share gain activities at assigned accounts
  • Identifying new growth opportunities with assigned accounts
  • Acting as Primary Communicator to Customers
  • Maintaining and Updating Customer Pricing Documents
  • Maintaining a Multi-Discipline Approach to Addressing Customer needs
  • Being on call to resolve customer critical issues
  • Possessing a Working Knowledge of all Samples and Products shared and sold to Customer
  • Ensuring Regional and Global Key Account team are aligned with Division Goals
  • Creating strategic relationships
  • Facilitating Top to Top meetings
  • Maintaining a 5-year Business plan aligned to broader division Strategic Plan
  • Acting as Team Leader for Cross Functional teams (Customer Service, Supply Planning, Manufacturing)
  • Working in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Six (6) years of Key Account Sales experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the Non-Woven & Hygiene Markets
  • Engineering background
  • Master's degree
  • Experience in key account management, ideally in direct business model
  • Experience managing multi-location accounts
  • Skills include ability to navigate KA globally, data management, customer negotiation, pricing
  • Proven experience leveraging Big 3M network and matrix
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
