About the position

The Global Logistics Manager at Drape Kings is responsible for overseeing the logistics operations for global events, ensuring the efficient transportation, delivery, and setup of event materials and equipment across international borders. This role involves collaboration with event planners, suppliers, and logistics providers to execute events seamlessly while maintaining cost-effectiveness and high service standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop comprehensive logistics strategies for events across multiple countries.
• Manage the coordination of international shipments including air, sea, and ground transportation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global logistics providers and suppliers.
• Oversee the management of event materials and equipment inventory.
• Supervise on-site logistics for events, ensuring timely setup and delivery of materials.
• Develop and manage logistics budgets for each event, ensuring cost control.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety protocols in logistics operations.
• Manage a team of logistics coordinators, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics management, preferably within the events or entertainment industry.
• Prior experience managing international logistics, shipping, and customs procedures is required.
• Strong knowledge of global transportation, freight forwarding, customs regulations, and international shipping.
• Proven ability to manage multiple logistics projects and deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent negotiation skills with experience working with third-party logistics providers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing circumstances.
• Proficient in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
