About the position

Join Siemens Healthineers as the Global Marketing Director, Head of Atellica Systems Immunoassay Analyzers, where you will play a pivotal role in driving product strategy and innovation that enhances patient care globally. This position is centered around end-to-end product ownership, where you will be responsible for the immunoassay instrument strategy, innovation, product launch, go-to-market initiatives, commercial positioning, and related campaigns. You will oversee the Atellica instrumentation, ensuring a holistic solutions approach to product positioning that meets the needs of various stakeholders including laboratorians, hospital administration, reference labs, and ministries of health. In this role, you will leverage deep customer insights to become the Atellica systems expert, contributing to the overall CLS business strategy. You will develop competitive selling strategies by thoroughly understanding competitive offerings and providing commercial organizations with the necessary tools to differentiate our products in a profitable manner. Your responsibilities will include analyzing key competitive wins, synthesizing competitive intelligence, and leading the development of specific strategies to outperform competitors. You will also be tasked with crafting appropriate customer requirements and design inputs to guide the development team, ensuring that profitable and differentiated products are delivered to market. Your expertise will be critical in managing a team and driving the strategic direction and global product plans based on customer, clinical, regulatory, and reimbursement insights, as well as competitor analysis. This role requires a strong results orientation and the ability to act as a change agent within the organization, demonstrating resilience, decisiveness, and authenticity. You will be expected to display a sense of urgency in all initiatives, ensuring that the Atellica Systems remain at the forefront of the market.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end product ownership for immunoassay instrument strategy and innovation.
  • Lead product launch and go-to-market initiatives for Atellica Systems.
  • Develop commercial positioning and related campaigns for immunoassay products.
  • Gain deep customer insights to inform the overall CLS business strategy.
  • Analyze competitive offerings and develop strategies to differentiate Atellica products.
  • Create go-to-market strategies and campaigns with detailed competitive playbooks.
  • Ensure customer requirements and design inputs guide product development.
  • Assess immunoassay instrument and platform opportunities across various segments.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing and product management experience in varying specialties.
  • Core Lab Diagnostics experience is a must.
  • Experience in sales/commercial, marketing, new product development, and strategic direction.
  • Strong results orientation and ability to act as a change agent.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or related technical discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Experience managing direct reports is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in developing compelling sales messaging and training materials.
  • Familiarity with market research methodologies and product portfolio strategy.
